This is a photo-story from Uganda made during a week in August 2010, visiting and talking to women workers in various sectors, trade unionists and politicians.
Organisations and workplaces visited included:
- Mandela National Stadium and Nakivubo Memorial Stadium
- Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union and Entebbe Hospital
- National Union of Plantation and Agricultural Workers
- Uganda Horticultural and Allied Workers Union
- National Water and Sewerage Corporation
- Flower farms owned by Xclusive Cuttings, Royal Van Zanten and Mairye Estates
