Our Objectives
- Facilitate the international exchange of information and experience between women workers
- Help mobilise international support for the struggles of women workers
- Facilitate international dialogue and discussion about issues crucial to women workers
- Co-ordinate and focus this dialogue in order to be able to genuinely represent women's voices in international forums. Enable reproduction of this information in appropriate forms for educationalists, media personnel and policy makers. This would be done only after full consultation with participants
- Enable active lobbying of policy makers in international forums which crucially affect women workers
- Share materials produced by groups, such as worker handbooks and local research reports, with women's groups with similar issues in other parts of the world and educationalists and policy makers in Europe
- Ensure that participants in the network are kept fully informed about the activities and materials of other groups through direct communication
- Enable participants to gain easier and more immediate access to information about international policies and strategies which affect women workers
- Enable participants to make specific requests for information or contacts, e.g. data on particular companies
